FULL OF IT. Eating enough fiber every day pays big dividends: 1) You'll feel fuller all day long, even through intense workouts; 2) Fiber keeps your insides clean & strong. For males ages 19 - 50, the recommended daily amount is 38 grams. Here's what that looks like in real foods: 2 medium-sized apples, 1 banana, 2 cups of broccoli, 2 cups of raw carrots, 1 cup of celery, 1 cup of squash, and 3 ounces of almonds = approx 38 grams of fiber.
