Rest Day

Nutrition tip of the week:

SPICE IT UP. Spices like black pepper & cinnamon do more than just add flavor to food. Staying properly fueled from morning 'til night involves maintaining a good digestive system & keeping your blood sugar even. Black pepper stimulates stomach acids that help foods digest. Plus it has antioxidants that guard cells against invaders & antibacterial properties that fight infection. Cinnamon can help control blood sugar levels; it's a natural anti-inflammatory & anti-microbial (fungus fighter); and it's a good source of manganese, which keeps bones strong & assists with the synthesis of fatty acids. As little as 1/4 a teaspoon a day works.
