Good to see the use of a MB to ensure depth as we work into a full front squat. Ideally the bottom of the front squat is at "rock bottom." The lifter is working at building strength to drive out of the deep catch position in the C&J. One major issue that will haunt Dr Spinu will be his lack of flexibility in the wrists and “rack” position of the bar. Note how he is supporting the bar with only his hands and arms. The bar should rest on the shelf of his upper chest just off, or forward, of the clavicle. The heavier he gets the more pain he'll experience in the wrists resulting in failed attempts. To teach the "rack" poition have the lifter release the bar and cross arms over the bar after stepping away from the squat rack. This will also teach good upright form. To work wrist flexibility Have the lifter do wrist curls in the "catch position from the "rack" up.
